GM Reports 12% Sales Decline

DETROIT — General Motors Corp. said today that its domestic car sales during early December were down 12% from a year ago, while Ford Motor Co. and Chrysler Corp. reported strong, double-digit gains in sales. Ford said its domestic car sales rose 33.5% during the period, while Chrysler said its U.S. car sales increased 25%.
