Preventing Drownings

Almost every day I pick up the newspaper and read about a child drowning. How very sad!

If concerned parents were to look in the Yellow Pages, they would see under “Swimming Schools” several listed. I did that when my son was 4 years old. He was taught by the most marvelous woman in Orange County.

She has countless letters from parents who have said that if it had not been for her teaching, their children would surely have drowned.

I do not swim, but all my children do. Living in California makes it a necessity.
