John Rohring to Head Land Economics Unit

John Rohring, manager of property development for Mission Land Co., will be installed Jan. 21 as 1987 president of the Los Angeles chapter of Lambda Alpha, an honorary international land economics society. He succeeds architect Kurt W. Meyer.
Rohring has been associated with Mission Land and its predecessor firm, Associated Southern Investment Co., for nearly 25 years.
Other new officers are Michael S. Genewick, Watson Land Co., vice president; William I. Kennedy, Upland Industries Corp., secretary; William L. Waldren, Southern California Edison Co., treasurer; Katherine B. Dunlap, California water commissioner, assistant treasurer, and James W. Greathead, retired California Department of Transportation employee, historian.
