Real Estate and USC Grad Students’ Sensitivity
- Share via
As a student of the graduate program in real estate development at USC and a planner for local government for the past 10 years, I have become bored with people like Kaplan, who freely criticize the design of every new development but cannot suggest a design they like.
For a student in the first program of its kind on the West Coast, I found the experience of selecting a “good” development and defending it a valuable exercise. It will be repeated again and again for those of us who go on to careers in the field, defending what all of us hope to be the best new developments against those who only see the worst.
