Silent Emergency Needs Voicing
At least 14 million children die each year from the “silent emergency” of infection and malnutrition--that is equal to all children in the U.S., ages four and younger! We are making a small dent in this atrocity. We now have in the 1980s the knowledge and the means to defeat infection and undernutrition among the world’s children on a massive scale at an affordable cost.
Thank you for your attention to this “unsensational tragedy.” It takes each and every one of us to make a difference.
