Voyager: A Flight Into the Future

The many descriptions of Voyager as ugly, awkward and ungainly are puzzling. The lean proportions of both the wing and twin fuselages seem pleasing, as did the P-38.
The only plane remembered for its beauty must be the Constellation, which suggested something of the graceful lines of a shark. Since Voyager worked, its integral beauty is that of a fine tool.
It might seem Murphy suspended his law for nine days but not really, things went wrong but good design permitted recovery.
Good show, great stunt. A flight into the future.
