United Education Planning to Buy 10 Training Schools

Encino-based United Education & Software said it will proceed with the purchase of seven welding and three aeronautical technical schools from Airco Education Services, despite the withdrawal of its partner, Cencor Inc. of Kansas City, Mo.

Cencor pulled out of the deal to buy 20 other training schools from Airco of Montvale, N.J. United Education & Software owns trade and technical schools and sells computers and software for classrooms.
