A Palestinian was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison after pleading guilty to planting a bomb on a Jerusalem bus two years ago that killed six people and wounded 50.

An Israeli military court also convicted Fameer Ibrahim Mahmoud abu Namah, 26, of being a member of the Fatah faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization.

He was arrested after a grenade attack on Israeli soldiers near Jerusalem’s Western Wall in October. During sentencing Tuesday, the judge said Abu Namah supplied grenades for that attack, which killed one person and wounded 69.

There was no mention of the grenade attack among the charges against Abu Namah, and it was unclear whether he will face any later.
