Casey Having Speech Problems
CIA Director William Casey is having trouble speaking and is experiencing weakness on his right side and has begun radiation treatments for the cancer that has hospitalized him since mid-December, hospital officials said today.
Georgetown University Hospital said Casey remains in stable condition and said the speech and right-side weakness troubles have been slowly improving since his brain surgery. A spokesman said he could not give any details of how the “right-sided weakness” was affecting Casey or whether he had control of his right arm or leg.
