Susan Beazley, a partner of Arthur Young & Co., has been named chief financial officer and executive vice president of Cannon Group Inc.

She succeeds Barry I. Lublin, who joins Cannon’s office of the president as senior executive vice president. Lublin served in the chief financial officer’s post for 16 months. Previously, he was partner-in-charge at the Los Angeles office of Mann, Judd, Landau, which served as Cannon’s outside auditors until Oct. 1, when Cannon hired Arthur Young & Co. to audit its 1986 figures.

Cannon disclosed two months ago that it is under formal investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission for its public disclosures since 1983, including its financial condition.

Beazley, who joined the Arthur Young firm 19 years ago, became a partner in the accounting concern in 1978.
