Snowstorm Hits Central Plains

A winter storm that dumped up to 30 inches of snow over portions of Utah crept out of the Rockies and into the central Plains today, spreading snow as far east as Kansas.
Snow fell early today across much of Colorado, northern New Mexico, Kansas and portions of the Oklahoma and northern Texas panhandles. Three inches fell overnight at Las Vegas, N.M., while Denver picked up an inch.
