Illegal Liquor Kills 30

MADRAS, India —
At least 30 people were killed and 40 blinded by drinking illegally distilled liquor in this south Indian port, police said Wednesday. They said more than 200 people drank the homemade liquor last Saturday and they expected more deaths.
