BRAND AID: HANDS ACROSS A NEW CAMPAIGN : $576,665 PAID OUT FOR U.S. HUNGRY

The USA for Africa Foundation had paid out $576,665 of its Hands Across America funds in grants to organizations that aid domestic homeless and hungry as of last week. About $15 million raised from Hands contributors last spring remain in the bank. Foundation president Ken Kragen said that this money will be distributed within the next three months.
