Gorbachev Meets Leader of South Yemen Socialists

MOSCOW —
Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev had talks Tuesday with Ali Salim Bidh, head of the ruling South Yemen Socialist Party, the official news agency Tass said.
Tass said the talks took place in the Kremlin but gave no further details. Bidh, who arrived in Moscow on Monday, also met with Yegor K. Ligachev, considered to be the No. 2 man in the Kremlin.
