S. Africa Bans Film on Cuba, Castro’s Book About Chile

JOHANNESBURG —
Cuban leader Fidel Castro has been given the cold shoulder by South Africa’s censors. Among the latest list of banned imports announced Friday is a film on modern-day Cuba and the book, “Fidel Castro on Chile.”
The list, released by the Directorate of Publications, also bans imports of a metal badge with the slogan “Legalize Pot,” a book about homosexuals and the 1987 calendar of the United Democratic Front, the country’s largest anti-apartheid organization.
