Cuban Advisers

Share

Your article (Feb. 15), “More Cubans May Be In Nicaragua,” quoted some unnamed official in either the State Department or the Administration as saying, “I think there is evidence to confirm that Cuban advisers have been coming in since late December.”

What does he mean “think?” What it says to me is that there is no evidence, but that the Reagan Administration wants us to believe that there is. This is just another attempt by the Administration to lie to the American public. But what’s new? Reagan and his buddies have been lying to the public since he first ran for governor of California. When are you people in the news media business going to stop believing him?
