China Pledges Neutrality

BEIJING —
Iraqi First Deputy Prime Minister Taha Yassin Ramadan said Thursday that he had raised the issue of arms sales to Iran with Chinese leaders and said he trusted them to stand by their position of neutrality in the Iran-Iraq War. China has denied that it has supplied arms to Iran.
