Nine Soviet editors are scheduled to leave today for a 10-day visit to New York to meet with U.S. journalists and officials. The meetings are to take place six months after the KGB’s arrest of Nicholas Daniloff, a reporter for U.S. News & World Report, in Moscow on spy charges forced cancellation of a similar exchange. The trip is at the invitation of the American Society of Newspaper Editors and is the first of three planned to the United States this year from the organization, Rafail Moseev, secretary of the Union of Soviet Journalists, said in Moscow.
