Pepperdine Defeats USIU, 15-11

Pepperdine pounded out 17 hits and defeated United States International University, 15-11, Sunday at USIU.

Pepperdine (9-3-1) took a 15-5 lead after six innings, but USIU (5-10) countered with a run in the seventh inning, four in the eighth and one in the ninth to make it close. USIU left the bases loaded in the eighth and ninth innings.
