Garner Anthony, chairman and CEO of Cox Enterprises Inc., announced that he will resign at the end of 1987. He is 57 and has held the posts since 1974.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Cox Enterprises publishes 21 daily newspapers, owns and operates eight television stations and seven FM and five AM radio stations and is the nation’s fourth-largest cable system operator.
