AT&T; was sued over ads for toll-free service.

Worldwide 800 Services Inc., a competing toll-free service, claimed in its suit that the ads misrepresent the service AT&T; provides and falsely claim that the service cannot be found anywhere else at any price. It said AT&T;’s ads for toll-free service overseas are “false and misleading. In fact, the type of service being advertised . . . is not being provided by AT&T; but is being arranged through Worldwide 800 Services and its subsidiaries.”
