First Interstate Bancorp, Los Angeles, named Richard Puz executive vice president.
Puz will be responsible for managing First Interstate Mortgage Special Assets.
Puz was executive vice president and chief credit officer at Seafirst Bank in Seattle from 1984 to 1986. Before that, he was with Bank of America from 1959 to 1984, serving last as an executive vice president in the world banking division.
