City Called Nation’s Icebox Has Warmest February

INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn. —
The city that bills itself as the “nation’s icebox” recorded its warmest February on record this year. The average reading of 23.7 degrees last month in International Falls, on the Minnesota-Canada border, was the warmest ever recorded, the National Weather Service said. The previous record was 20.7 degrees in 1983.
