Distributed Logic Lists $231,256 Loss in Quarter

Share

Distributed Logic, an Anaheim computer products maker, said it lost $231,256 for the first quarter of its 1987 fiscal year, contrasted with net earnings of $341,730 for the comparable period last year. Revenues for the quarter ended Jan. 31 declined 24% to $2.8 million from $3.7 million a year earlier.

The company blamed the loss on the weakened computer market, which lowered the demand for several of its older product lines, as well as on expenses incurred in the development and marketing of a new line of mass storage and communications controllers.

Also, the company lost $36,000 converting American dollars into several Western European currencies to support its facility in Switzerland.
