The Boston Equal Rights League commemorated the 217th anniversary of the Boston Massacre on Thursday at the spot where the skirmish took place. The event also honored Crispus Attucks, a fugitive slave who was one of five men killed by British soldiers on March 5, 1770. The five are considered the first casualties of the American Revolution.
