Ralph D. Hillman has been named executive vice president and principal operating officer of Garden Grove-based Donnelley Information Publishing, publisher of the Donnelley Directory of business yellow pages.

A 30-year Donnelley employee, Hillman, 55, most recently served as vice president and general manager of the company’s western region.

In his new position, he will be involved in managing operations in California, Oklahoma, Texas and Florida.

Succeeding Hillman in the western regional position is John H. Rice, 46, formerly an assistant managing director of Thomson Directories Ltd. in Great Britain.

Donnelley is a unit of the Dun and Bradstreet Corp.
