The Lazers came from two goals down late in the final quarter to stun the San Diego Sockers, 6-5, in sudden-death overtime Sunday night on a goal by newly acquired forward Chris Chueden.

The winning score, a 35-foot shot that was mishandled by Socker goalkeeper Zoltan Toth, came 10 minutes into the extra period.

It was the first point as a Lazer for Chueden, playing in his second game since being acquired from Cleveland for Paul Kitson.

The Lazers have won three of five games against San Diego (19-14) this season.
