New record highs were recorded for the year and fourth quarter by Los Angeles-based New World Pictures. Revenue rose 77% for 1986 and profit was up 108%, with revenue increasing 93% and net income gaining 11 cents per share in the fourth quarter. All of the firm’s divisions--motion pictures, television and home video--contributed to the record fourth-quarter and year-end results, a spokesman said.
