More than 100 local, state and federal officers converged on two Waco, Tex., high schools and began arresting 35 students named in state and federal warrants on charges of selling drugs to two undercover agents who posed as pupils. Twenty students at Waco High and 15 at University High were named in warrants. Warrants were also issued for 33 people outside the schools as part of Operation Gemini, an undercover operation so secret that school officials did not know of it until three weeks ago, police said.
