National Health Care Systems Inc. said that Robert Y. Kim, formerly its chief operating officer, has been named president. Kim replaces Arthur D. Axelrod, who assumes the post of chairman of the board. Axelrod replaces U.T. Thompson III, who resigned the chairmanship on March 1.
