Rolls-Royce agreed to an engine deal with Boeing.

The agreement calls for the British company, one of the world’s largest jet engine makers, to install its engines in a new generation of Boeing Co. civilian aircraft. State-owned Rolls-Royce said it would install its RB 211-524 D4D engine on the Boeing B767 family of aircraft, a successor to the Seattle-based aerospace company’s B747 aircraft, already powered with Rolls-Royce engines. A company spokesman declined to say how many engines had been ordered or how much the deal was likely to be worth.
