Jury selection was completed in the attempted murder trial of New York subway gunman Bernhard H. Goetz. After 10 days of interviews, the 12th regular juror and four alternates were notified of their selection for the trial to begin April 27 in the New York Supreme Court, a trial-level court. The 12 regular jurors include eight men and four women. Two are are black, nine white and one Latino. Six said they have been the victims of crimes, three of them of subway crimes. Goetz, who is white, is charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment, assault and weapons violations for the shooting of four teen-agers, all blacks, in a subway train in lower Manhattan in December, 1984.
