Army Studies Sinking of Fifth Bradley Vehicle

FT. BENNING, Ga. —
Investigators were trying to determine what caused one of the Army’s Bradley Fighting Vehicles to sink in a training pond.
The seven soldiers riding atop the $1.4-million amphibious vehicle were unharmed when it sank Monday in 17 feet of water, Ft. Benning officials said. The accident brought to five the number of Bradleys known to have sunk.
