NMR Centers Inc. Begins NASDAQ System Trading

NMR Centers Inc., a Newport Beach operator of outpatient diagnostic centers, has begun trading on the NASDAQ National Market System.

S. Lewis Meyer, president, said the 5-year-old company, which will be traded under the symbol NMRC, applied to the National Market System a month ago so it could become more visible. A NASDAQ listing also enables investors to buy a company’s stock with marginal financing.

NMR Centers has three operating centers, specializing in general radiology, cardiology and neurosciences, in three states and is constructing and developing six other centers.
