India Disaster Toll 1,180

NEW DELHI —
Natural disasters including floods, cyclones and drought killed 1,180 Indians and caused $856 million in damage in the past year, the Press Trust of India news agency said Thursday. Also lost were 200,000 homes, 10.62 million acres of crops and 58,000 cows.
