An official in the Irish Embassy in London has been recalled to Dublin and suspended while authorities investigate allegations that he sold hundreds of false Irish passports--some possibly to Arab terrorists--a spokesman for the Department of Foreign Affairs said. The London-based People newspaper reported that the official charged between $3,200 and $24,000 for the passports, which would allow the holders to travel and live in Ireland and the other 11 nations in the European Communities.
