Clifford Shank was named president of Burbank National Bank and its parent firm, BNB Bancorp. Shank, 42, was previously a vice president at Mechanics National Bank in Paramount.

Shank replaces Lawrence Stevenson, who left Burbank National to be senior loan officer at Sterling Bank in Los Angeles.

Burbank National has one office and assets of about $13 million.
