China Executes Officer

BEIJING —
A police officer in southern China’s Guangdong province was executed for accepting bribes amounting to more than $64,350, the official China Legal News said Monday. Ou Chujie, 35, had worked since 1980 at the province’s Foshan Public Security Bureau, which approves travel permits for Hong Kong and Macao, the paper said.
