Mexican Troops Seize Cocaine Plane; 4 Killed

MEXICO CITY —
Army troops seized an airplane loaded with 1,870 pounds of cocaine after a shoot-out in which four drug traffickers were killed, a Mexican Defense Department spokesman said Tuesday.
Maj. Tomas Aguirre said three other traffickers, two of them Colombians, were arrested in the raid Monday at an airfield in Tuxpan, 285 miles west of Mexico City in southern Jalisco state. No soldiers were reported killed or wounded in the clash, he said.
