An American regional security officer, a Bolivian policeman and several demonstrators received minor injuries when a bomb hurled at the U.S. Embassy in La Paz bounced back into the crowd, the State Department said in Washington. The U.S. statement denied radio reports that the bomb was thrown from inside the embassy. It said the incident occurred during a march by union members and students protesting unemployment.
