Moxie Industries Lists Earnings of $646,000

Moxie Industries Inc., an Anaheim-based manufacturer and distributor of vitamins and nutritional food products, reported earnings of $646,000 for fiscal 1986 ended Dec. 31. as compared to a $2.05 million loss a year ago.

Company revenues dropped to $17.6 million from $25.6 million in 1985, a 35.2% decrease.

Officials attributed the year’s earnings to the July sale of Moxie’s Dari-Tech division to an undisclosed buyer for $9 million. Revenues for 1985 have been restated from $39.2 million to reflect the sale, the company said.
