Authorities are searching for a woman with curly hair and glasses, or perhaps with straight hair and no glasses. They do know one thing: She has $30,000 that belongs to the First State Bank of Kansas City.

Shortly after the teller trainee left work last Monday, officials discovered the money missing.

When the woman was interviewed for her job and on her first day of work the previous Friday, she had short curly hair and glasses. Monday, she came to work with shoulder-length hair but no glasses. She told employees she had worn a wig earlier and was wearing contact lenses Monday.

“We have no indication of her true identity,” FBI Special Agent Mike Kortan said.

Officials at First State Bank would not say how the money was taken. “If you say how it happened, the next thing you know someone else will try it,” President Robert Miller said.
