A Daly City man took his life by biting down on a tiny glass vial of cyanide while being booked as a suspected drunk driver in San Francisco. Robert Francis Moreno, 28, apparently was depressed about being without a job and about breaking up with a girlfriend six months ago, police said. Moreno, a former San Francisco police trainee, reportedly ran from two California Highway Patrol officers at the booking counter, shouted “Allah Akbar!” (God is great!”) and bit into the poison vial.
