Rockwell International Reports 9.5% Boost in Net

Rockwell International Corp. said Tuesday its net income rose 9.5% in its second fiscal quarter and 13.4% for the first half, in part because of revised pension accounting procedures.

Revenue for the second quarter and first half rose 2.9% and 3.4%, respectively.

The second-quarter results included a one-time gain of $25.4 million that resulted from new pension accounting procedures.
