The state has warned against using a Chinese herbal arthritis medication manufactured in Hong Kong called Chuifong Toukawan, which may contain potentially dangerous hydrochlorothiazide. Health Director Kenneth Kizer said packets of the medication containing 60 round, black tablets each are sold by mail order and possibly by retail outlets. The state agency has determined that the tablets contain hydrochlorothiazide, although it is not listed as an ingredient.
