Revenue and earnings of San Francisco-based McKesson Corp. set new highs in the fiscal year ended March 31 but fourth-quarter profit dipped slightly as a result of unfavorable fourth-quarter inventory charges, a spokesman reported. For the year, McKesson’s largest business segment, Drug & Health Care, reported an 18% rise in revenue, while operating profit rose 7%. The segment includes the results of PCS, the nation’s largest processor of third-party prescription claims, which reported a 38% rise in revenue and a 55% gain in profit.
