Graham Greene Gets Sandinista Decoration

MANAGUA, Nicaragua —
British novelist Graham Greene, 82, on a brief visit to Nicaragua, has been awarded the Sandinista government’s highest decoration for literary achievement, the Ruben Dario Medal.
President Daniel Ortega pinned the medal, named after Nicaragua’s most famous poet, on Greene’s chest at a ceremony Wednesday.
