Using $14,000 in state lottery money to attract two well-known speakers, Cal State Fullerton will launch its annual Communications Week today.

Former White House Press Secretary Larry Speakes will be paid a $10,000 fee and ABC News media analyst Jeff Greenfield will get $4,000, said Ed Trotter, chairman of the university’s communications department.

Greenfield will speak at 11 a.m. at the University Center building on campus. Speakes, who was President Reagan’s press secretary for six years, will speak at noon in the Pacific Christian College theater. Both talks are free and open to the public.
