Overseas Taxes

As frequent travelers, my husband and I have paid numerous visa fees to certain countries, knowing full well that such fees are merely a legal means of obtaining hard currency, in other words a rip-off. But nevertheless we paid them, considering them to be a contribution. Surely the French government did not initiate the visa requirement without realizing it would be an unpopular action. I, for one, fully support and appreciate the concern that government has taken to protect its citizens and guests.
