San Jose Officer Faces Sexual Assault Charges

SAN JOSE —
An 11-year veteran San Jose police officer has been charged with sexually assaulting a female undercover officer, officials said Saturday.
Sgt. Reese Gwillim, 34, was charged in court Friday with sexual assault and released on his own recognizance, officials said.
He allegedly attacked the woman while the two were working on a sting operation, Deputy Dist. Atty. Alan Nudelman said.
